Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver instruction aligned with NYSED CTE and FACS learning standards
  • Teach courses and units in areas such as:
    • Nutrition and food preparation
    • Personal finance and consumer decision-making
    • Human development and interpersonal relationships
    • Career exploration and life skills
  • Incorporate hands-on, project-based learning experiences
  • Maintain and manage classroom/lab spaces, including kitchens and equipment if applicable
  • Promote safety, sanitation, and proper use of tools and materials
  • Integrate technology and real-world applications into instruction
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including students with IEPs and English Language Learners

Qualifications
