Location: High School

Salary: Per applicable CSEA contract/salary schedule

Cheektowaga Central School District is seeking a dependable and responsible School Monitor for the High School.

General Responsibilities:

The School Monitor will assist with the supervision of students throughout the school day and help maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful school environment.

Duties Include:

• Monitor hallways, common areas, cafeteria, entrances, and other assigned locations
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch periods, and other non-instructional times
• Assist with maintaining student behavior expectations
• Report safety concerns, discipline issues, or unusual activity to building administration.
• Support school procedures related to student movement, attendance, and building security
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the building principal or designee

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively with high school students
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Prior school experience preferred, but not required
